On behalf of the Organising Committee, we warmly welcome you to the International Union of Microbiological Societies (IUMS) 2017 Congress in Singapore from 17 to 21 July, 2017. This is the first time the IUMS Congress is being held in Asia outside Japan.

The IUMS 2017 Congress incorporates three major congresses: the 15th International Congress of Bacteriology and Applied Microbiology, 15th International Congress of Mycology and Eukaryotic Microbiology and 17th International Congress of Virology. The congresses will deal with all aspects of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology and is a platform for the exchange of knowledge and opinions of professionals from academia, industry, government and for fostering international collaborations. With that in mind, IUMS 2017 will be held concurrently in Singapore in a spirit of international sharing and to favour cross-discipline collaboration.

The knowledge and experience will be shared by attendees from academia, universities, clinical practice, industry and government, making this the world largest microbiology conference with the most comprehensive group of scientists at a single gathering with participation from across the globe.  I therefore take great pleasure in inviting your you to participate in IUMS 2017. We are excited about this meeting as well as the opportunities for scientific and social interactions with colleagues from the region and around the world. Join us in IUMS 2017, for an enlightening, informative and enriching experience.

The abstract submission will close in two weeks (February 28th 2017).  Do join the rest of the 1,000 abstract submitters to present your research to like-minded international and regional delegates at the IUMS 2017 Singapore Congress!
