Microscopy Core

Microscopy Core

MBI’s Microscopy Core is the largest of MBI’s core facilities, serving as the backbone for most of the experimental work at the Institute. The Core supports image related research, offering a wide range of microscopes and image analysis resources. Learn more about the facilities.

Nano and Microfabrication Core

MBI’s Microfabrication Core was formed to support the microfabrication needs of MBI PIs, collaborators, research fellows and graduate students through direct fabrication or recommendation of  suitable solutions. Find out more about this facility.

Laboratories

Laboratories

The MBI laboratories design is based on the bold concept of an ‘open laboratory’. There are no walls or partitions separating one principal investigator’s group from another and benches are communal, as are facilities and equipment. Read more about MBI’s labs.

Computational Core

Computational Core

The MBI Computational Facility was set up to store, process, analyze and visualize the experimental data and images as well as large scale computer modeling of cell processing and data mining of complex biological processes. Read more about computing at MBI.

Protein Cloning Core

Protein Cloning and Expression Core

Science Communications Core
