Background
Shuhong Liu received her B.E. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2026. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted research in Prof. Mian Long’s group at the Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, focusing on liver organoid mechanobiology. She also joined Prof. Jie Yan’s group at the Mechanobiology Institute (MBI) as an exchange student, where she worked on single-molecule force spectroscopy. In 2026, she joined MBI at the National University of Singapore as a Ph.D. student.
