Daniya CHALIL

PhD Student

Qualifications

Integrated MSc in Physics, National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, India.

About

Daniya graduated with a Master in Physics, where she developed optical systems for the dynamic trapping of neutral atoms. During the project, she worked with acousto-optic modulators (AOMs) to control laser beams and designed an imaging system to visualize the trapped atoms. At MBI, she aims to apply her physics background to investigate the dynamics and mechanics of cellular structures, with the goal of understanding the physical principles that govern cellular evolution and division.

Research Interests

Single-molecule Biophysics, Cellular Biophysics, Synthetic Cell and Bioimaging technology
