On 28 April, our lab received visitors from Raffles Girls’ School as part of MBI’s outreach event. Our lab members prepared stations to introduce the students to our research. During the session, the students got to watch a live demonstration of how our hydrogels are made and were even allowed to (safely!) touch hydrogels tuned to match the varying stiffnesses of tissues in our bodies. Our session also featured an introduction to the applications of fluorescence microscopy in our research.
