As MBI embarks on a new scholastic year, we are delighted to welcome the latest additions to our MBI family — The Ph.D. Class of August 2022. 11 new Ph.D. students from Singapore, China, India, Japan and the Netherlands will be pursuing MBI’s Programme in Mechanobiology as the next chapter of their academic journeys. Though it just the beginning, they have thus far met with our local community for young scientists, attended multiple talks, presentations and a mini-symposium, and even completed the intensive MBI Bootcamp-cum-module MB5104 (An Integrative Approach To Understand Cell Functions). Currently, they are in the midst of their lab rotations and consulting with various PIs and researchers. MBI is excited to be their academic home for the next four years, as they forge deep into the field of Mechanobiology while pushing its forefront.
