Job description
We seek candidates with a commitment to both independent and collaborative interdisciplinary research in the broad area of mechanobiology in development, ageing, and disease.
We will consider candidates with a diverse array of expertise, such as in vitro biomimetic systems, biophysical and biomechanical analyses, biomedical engineering approaches, single-cell omics and bioinformatics, computational biology, AI, mathematical modeling, and translational mechanobiology.
A successful candidate will hold joint appointments as Principal Investigator at MBI and tenured Professor or Associate Professor, or tenure-track Assistant Professor, in an appropriate NUS department and will be provided an internationally competitive salary and benefits, core facility support, as well as a generous start-up package.
Requirements
Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree and postdoctoral training in relevant fields, along with demonstrated excellence in research and ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels. A successful junior faculty candidate is expected to demonstrate significant creativity and independence in research and willingness to participate in teaching. A successful senior faculty candidate is expected to have an outstanding track record in research, teaching and mentoring, and exhibit leadership and vision.
