The Center for Engineering MechanoBiology (CEMB) is sponsoring a Mechanobiology Symposium at the University of Pennsylvania from September 13-14, 2018.  This international symposium is being organized with support from the National Science Foundation and will cover emerging issues in forces that control living systems in both plant and animal cells.

Registration for the 2018 CEMB Mechanobiology Symposium is now open.

If interested, titles and abstracts for the poster session are being accepted and should be submitted with your registration.  Select students will be invited to give oral presentations based on submitted poster abstracts.  The deadline for abstract submission is August 3, 2018.

Registration fee is $100 and includes meals and materials during the symposium.  Hotel accommodations are available at the Sheraton Philadelphia, University City Hotel located at 3549 Chestnut Street (approximately 3 blocks from meeting location).  A reduced rate on housing is offered until August 11, 2018.  More information.
