I am pleased to inform you that the NUS Department of Biomedical Engineering together with Biomedical Engineering Society (Singapore) are joint organisers of the 16th International Conference on Biomedical Engineering (ICBME 2016). The conference will be held in the Stephen Riady Centre, University Town, National University of Singapore. We have invited quite a number of internationally well-known speakers. At the Mechanobiology Institute, National University of Singapore, our goal is to develop the world’s leading centre for mechanobiology research and education. Our research aims to interrogate biological systems from a physical and mechanical perspective at the molecular, cellular, and tissue level, with the eventual goal to leverage basic science discoveries in mechanobiology into biomedical innovations.
