Introduction to GRIP – Creating your own start-up

By Tricia Chong, NUS GRIP

GRIP is a program available to post-docs and grad students for starting your own technology companies. GRIP offers structured support and advice to guide teams through the process of creating a start-up including product and market validation, IP, and growth strategies. This program covers an initial 3-month development period with seed funding for an additional 9 months before launch into the wider start-up ecosystem. So far GRIP has been involved in supporting over 40 teams in their business ventures. Join us at 09:30 Friday the 23rd of August for a presentation and Q&A session on what is GRIP and how to apply and grow your ideas into a fully-fledged start-up and more. In the meantime, visit www.nusgrip.sg for more information.
